Kaitlin Shaner L.Ac.

Originally from the North Bay Area, Kaitlin is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a passion for community medicine.  Kaitlin believes in the power of traditional Chinese healing modalities and herbs as a way to help people find balance and healing, pain relief, and to create a deeper relationship with themselves and their own well-being. As a certified yoga teacher, fitness instructor, and dancer, Kaitlin understands the power and capability of the human body’s resilience and ability to heal itself.  She was first introduced to acupuncture and herbs through her own search for a natural way to manage recurring migraines, after several treatments the migraines stopped and a seed was planted in the garden of her mind.  She is trained in cosmetic facial acupuncture, tui na, cupping, gua sha, and herbs.  As an acupuncturist, she enjoys treating acute and chronic pain, facial rejuvenation, stroke recovery, migraines, insomnia, anxiety and depression. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys dancing and spinning on the trapeze, cultivating her green thumb, creating homemade herbal remedies, and spending time along the coast and redwoods.
