Jason Frye L.Ac. is a dedicated practitioner of Chinese Medicine, with an extensive background in various disciplines. His journey into Chinese Medicine began in 1998 when he dedicated himself to the study of Tai Chi, Qigong, Acupressure, and Tui Na. Under the guidance of esteemed instructors such as Sifu Brian O'Dea, Simu Ou Yang Min, and Master Zi Sheng Wang, he dove deep into the practices of energy healing, meditation, martial arts, and Asian philosophy.
Inspired by this transformative period, Jason pursued his formal education at The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, CA. After completing a rigorous four-year Master's program and passing the State Board Exam, he earned his license to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2010.
Never one to rest, Jason has continued his quest for knowledge and growth after graduating. He has had the privilege of studying under esteemed teachers such as Dr. Ming Qing Zhu for Neuro-Acupuncture and Will Morris for Advanced Pulse Listening. Jason also maintained a steadfast connection with his mentor, Brian O'Dea, further expanding his expertise in Tai Chi, Qigong, Medicine, Philosophy, and Humanity.
From 2006 to 2012, Jason's thirst for wisdom led him to explore the profound teachings of the Dao De Jing, Yi Jing, Chinese Astrology, Daoist and Buddhist practices, and the Chinese Almanac under the guidance of Liu Ming. In 2012, he deepened his spiritual journey by studying with Lama Palden Drolma and the Sukhasiddhi Foundation. In the midst of this personal and professional growth, Jason embarked on the challenge of Ngondro practice alongside his wife. Three years later, they joyfully welcomed their daughter, Amelie Rose, into the world, bringing immeasurable happiness to their lives.
Currently, Jason and his family are reading, gardening, building, cooking, eating, and practicing the Tai Chi 5 Animal Exercises. They are dedicated to learning and growing together.
Throughout his career, Jason has shared his knowledge and expertise as a teacher. From 2001 to 2015, he served as an instructor at the Acupressure Institute and the McKinnon Body Therapy Center.
