Specialty:  Orthopedics and Women’s Health. Currently an Apprentice of Whitfiled Reeves in Sports Medicine Acupuncture. Treatments focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine’s root cause philosophy while drawing upon 20 years of Bio-medicine clinical experience. Before becoming an acupuncturist,  I served as an allied healthcare worker in clinics and hospitals for 20 years, an instructor at UC Berkeley for 10 years, and a biomechanics research intern at NASA Ames Research Center for 2 years before attending UC Berkeley.

Treatments are personalized by using of different  modalities of Chinese medicine that is appropriate to each case, such as  traditional acupuncture,  trigger point acupuncture, dry needling, electroacupuncture, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, shiatsu massage, Chinese nutrition, and herbal medicine.

Fluent in English and conversant in Mandarin.
